Studio Port is a seven-square-mile order in the San Fernando Valley realm of the metropolis of Los Angeles, California, Amalgamate States. It is finite roughly by Ethel or Longridge Avenues to the westerly, Route 101 or Whipple Street to the northbound, Lankershim Street to the east and Mulholland Intend to the southwestern.   Studio City earned its name in the 1920s when Mack Sennett moved his studios from a neighborhood known as Edendale (near modern Echo Park) to a property near Colfax Avenue and Ventura Boulevard. His soundstages, Mack Sennett Studios, were later renamed Mascot Pictures Studios, Republic Pictures Studios, MTM Enterprises Studios and today are known as the CBS Radford Studios. Some residents wanted the town to be named Laurelwood, but the Chamber of Commerce pushed for Studio City to please the studios. Apartment Metropolis is placed in the southeastern San Fernando Depression. Highway 101 is the star thruway linking the atlantic to Look and the western depression. Right to remaining parts of the city is also provided by Comic Ravine Street, Coldwater Canyon Street and Ventura/Cahuenga Boulevards. Ventura Boulevard is where the mass of its advertizement state resides. Nearby, the past Sportsmen’s House is also threatened with eventual redevelopment.
