Le vieux séminaire d'Ajaccio, bâti il y a 397 ans, a été démoli dans le cadre du plan de la rénovation urbaine. Sur cet emplacement est prévue la construction d'un hôtel de luxe de 140 chambres, la salle des congrès ainsi qu'un parking souterrain.
