Key News: Home Foreclosure Crisis Part II, Possible Models for Recovery Frank Morris, Foreclosure Prevention Attorney, Western Massachusetts Legal Services discusses his one- year funded position to assist foreclosed homeowners in the four counties of Western Massachusetts joins Isenberg School assistant professor of operations management Senay Solak who along with researchers at UMass Boston and UMass Lowell have received a $370,000 grant from the National Science Foundation for their project, ' Decision Models for Foreclosed Housing Acquisition and Redevelopment.' For their two-year project, Solak and his team will design, implement, and evaluate portfolio based decision models to help not-for-profit community-based organizations improve their decisions in purchasing foreclosed properties.
