Mukit Hossain, goat farmer says a couple of my friends thought I was crazy. They thought, you know, I had gone totally nuts. In fact, it’s not a whim but sound business sense that drives this farmer. 300,000 Muslims live in the Washington DC area where he has his herd, providing a vast market for halal meat. And, Mukit says, they aren't the only ones with a taste for goat.
