DormNoise wants to be the standard calendaring tool for colleges and Universities Cranston, Rhode Island-based DormNoise, competed a few weeks ago at our Vator Splash event in San Francisco.  The company’s founder, Jay Rodrigues presented his pitch on stage in front of several hundreds of entrepreneurs and investors.  Here's the video we captured and a summary of what the company is working on. DormNoise has built a platform which functions as a student-calendaring tool.  The startup partners with colleges and universities to provide a centralized calendar where students can find out and share everything that's going-on on campus.  The company makes money by either charging the campus per student, or an incremental revenue-sharing sponsorship model with the university.  It's founder Jay Rodrigues is 21 years old and just raised $500,000 in funding ...
