The region surrounding Philadelphia has experienced a technology renaissance in the past few years.  The commitment by academic, civic, and corporate leaders has been evident in the significant growth of Bio-Tech and Bio-Pharmaceutical initiatives and the deployment of technology tools such as the Wireless Philadelphia Project. Mr. Bendis will discuss these topics and the relevance of opening new communication links between industry and academia for the purpose of collaborative research.
