Sony Dips 1.3%, Begins Restoring PlayStation Network in Asia
Electronics giant Sony Corp. (SNE) today announced the restoration of its PlayStation videogame network in Japan as well as in other Asian countries on Saturday, a month after a major hacking incident leaked tens of millions of users' personal details, accoding to Reuters. Sony has already begun restoring online network services in other parts of the world, offering a new identity protection service to customers in Asia amidst apologies for the way it handled the incident, the report added. SNE shares are down 1.32% to $26.85.
