As a result of Thursday's attack on the U.S. Embassy in Belgrade, the U.S. issued a statement Friday asking that all non-essential personnel be evacuated from the city. A Serbian protest against Kosovo's independence ended in part of the U.S. Embassy being set on fire. One person was killed and dozens more were injured, and now U.S. and United Nations officials are condemning the violent rally and how the Serbian government handled it.
