Yamuna: Delhi’s polluted lifeline
The source of 70 per cent of Delhi’s water has been suffering silently for years now. Early in the morning the Yamuna looks struggling to live along a community with a myopic vision. 38- year old Hari Ram, a boatman has been roving his boat in these waters ever since he was a young boy. He has been taking people for parwas or the submersion of the ashes in the holy waters for the better part of his life.
