Tecla Wanjala, African peace activist, describes the role of African women in the peace building process and discusses personal experiences from her work as the director of the Kenya Peace and Development Network (PeaceNet).  She emphasizes the comprehensive nature of peace building work, beginning with humanitarian relief, through rehabilitation, reconciliation, and development to address the underlying issues of conflict.
