Biphasic Phocus
This movie was recorded under a power tower on a ridge in the Angeles National Forest. The video was multiplied through a Gray-Scott reaction-diffusion simulation, seeded in real time by the monome’s LED output from 'mlr'. While my stage name might suggest otherwise, this was my first attempt at performing digital music live on a mountain. More soon. The resolution of the simulation layer is terrible...it was the only way I could run it in real time. Nevertheless, a successful test run. Optimization awaits.
