During sexual assault awareness month this April, the Emily Taylor Women’s Resource Center is hosting lectures and putting up booths and displays to let people know a network of help is available to victims of sexual assault. Ninety percent of college students tell another student about surviving their experience before ever approaching a counselor or the police. A sexual assault awareness booth will be at the Jayhawks for a Cure 5K race on April 11, and several tables and displays will be on campus for the remainder of the month.
