These New Puritans are set to release their sophomore album Hidden this March.  Rumored to be something much more sophisticated than Beat Pyramid (though we were impressed with that material when we filmed their set at Domino’s SXSW Showcase in '08), you can give a look and listen to the band's first single, "We Want Here", thanks to the sprawling visual to the song the band recently released. Folks behind the album are calling the new album "a work extraordinary in ambition, clarity of purpose and range — at times brutal, melancholy, expansive, cinematic or orchestral." It's an explanation that certainly works here, as twisted band bodies elegantly fly by the camera lens in dramatic fashion. - David Pitz
