3 июля день рождения Гаврилы Державина. Его называют отцом русской поэзии. По традиции этот день отмечают в усадьбе уже 21 год.. Более четверти века с 1791 по 1816 год, когда здесь жил Гаврила Романович, этот дом был центром русской культуры. И сегодня здесь вновь звучат стихи поэта.
