How To Spot the New $100 Bill
The U.S. Treasury Department unveiled a new $100 bill in April 2010, in the first remake of the bill since 1996. This video from the Bureau of Engraving and Printing shows the features of the new bill, such as a 3D security ribbon, a security thread, a picture of a bell in the inkwell, a portrait watermark of Founding Father Benjamin Franklin, and a color-shifting 100, intended to prevent counterfeiting and educate people on how to spot fakes.
