Rain water itself cant change into energy
The continued rain will not change to electricity as power houses are needed to generate it. There are no powerhouses to fulfil the demand. The powerhouses do not have the capacity though there is continued rainfall. Now there is only two hours of load shedding as it is monsoon. Talking about Kulekhani Hydropower, it also not able to generate energy as it should but it is generating more in the previous months due to the monsoon. Some water has been saved from this hydropower to decrease load shedding of 15 hours in the dry season. There has also been work in multi fuel electricity generation to counter the high load shedding. The load shedding could decrease to 10 to 12 hours in the dry season from this multi fuel.
