High enrollment for ROTC
The University of Kansas' Reserve Officer Training Corps, known as ROTC, attracts more students to the Army, Navy and Air Force than most other universities. KU is one of only 50 universities in the nation offering an ROTC program that represents all three branches of the military. Lieutenant Colonel Jeff Maxcy, director of the KU Army ROTC program, said there had been a gradual increase in enrollment numbers at KU.
