French Unions Announce More Strikes
Powerful unions announced two more days of strikes and protests over a reform of the retirement laws that would raise the minimum retirement age two years to 62, and the age for full retirement benefits from 65 to 67. More than six days of strike actions since September and an effort to disrupt transport have caused chaos in several major French cities. The President, meanwhile, is trying to speed up the legislation process. Jennifer Glasse reports from Paris.
