Shri Veeramakaliamman Temple is one of the most ancient temples of Singapore. Supposedly the Bengali immigrant labourers built it in the year 1881. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali, who according to Hindu mythology is Shivas consort and the Goddess of power.
