Former diplomat speaks about the Cold War
Former ambassador to the Soviet Union Jack Matlock blames the U.S. Senate’s rejection of the nuclear test ban treaty as one factor resulting in the problems the U.S. faces today. He said that rejection - in the 1990s - has made it more difficult to battle terrorism and deal with the rest of the world. Matlock, a former U.S. Ambassador to the Soviet Union, is author of Reagan and Gorbachev - How the Cold War Ended.
