Thattai Making Made Easier
Thattai is an easy savoury snack which can be preserved for a few days after making and is very popular with most people; here is how it is made: take three measures ( four if you prefer very crisp snack ) and one measure of coconut/copra gratings, add to it one or two finely chopped green chillies / red chillies, karepak, salt to taste, and a bit of hing .. mix into a thick dough and roll out small disks as shown , deep fry them in cooking oil till brown golden colour; cool well and EAT ! Note: if the thatte is thin, it will become more crisp for which the batter will have to be thinner
