Henry’s Harmonica: Memory and History in a Genocidal World
The Shoah Foundation maintains a huge visual archive of testimonies from Holocaust survivors. In this program, foundation President and CEO Doug Greenberg compares the searchable video to scholar’s interpretations of the genocide. He focuses on one survivor of the Holocaust to explore interpretive and intellectual issues. The Shoah Foundation’s mission is to overcome prejudice, intolerance and bigotry — and the suffering they cause — through the educational use of its visual history testimonies.
