Top story: Ash cloud chaos - passengers face delays and cancellations as Scottish airports are hit by major disruption. In other news: a pilot from Edinburgh has been jailed for 26 years for killing his estranged wife and burying her body in a grave he’d already dug in parkland; university bosses have come under attack from staff angry at what they call a jobs slaughter; large parts of Scotland have been recovering after storms battered much of the country yesterday; and in sport, the Scotland squad head across the Irish sea as the battle continues for the Carling Nations Cup.
