The 4 Pines Jacket is a heavy duty jacket made to be abused. Medium weight insulation ensures the cold won’t interfere with a great day on the ski hill. The shell fabric is similar to twill, so it is heavier and much more durable than typical insulated jackets. This jacket is ideal for the avid skier or snowboarder that is at a ski resort more often than not, and needs something that will last more than a few days. The 4 Pines caters more toward lift serviced skiing and snowbaording rather than the backcountry approach because it is noticable heavier than touring shells.
