奈良県高市郡明日香村大字平田にある鬼の雪隠
「鬼が霧を発生させ、迷った人間を鬼の俎で料理し、鬼の雪隠で排泄した」という伝説が残る場所であり、内幅約１，５ｍ、高さ約１，３ｍある鬼の雪隠。鬼の俎と同じく花崗岩で作られた遺構でしたが元々は1つの古墳の被っていた土が無くなり石室が分離した物である。ちなみに雪隠は蓋石。MAP
