世界最大のエイ「マンタ」。和名は「オニイトマキエイ」でダイバーの憧れの的である。沖縄・石垣島の川平石崎沖にあるダイビングポイントで出会える確率が高く、シーズンには２０隻以上の船が集結することがあるという。この日も多くのダイバーが珊瑚礁のある岩の下から悠然と泳ぐマンタに見とれていた＝１５日、石垣島・川平石崎沖、坂井幸路撮影
