Tracking the monsoon: Brahmaputra wreaks havoc
Our Monsoon Express headed to the largest river island in the world, Majuli, which is located in the upper reaches of the Brahmaputra in Assam. This year the island has received an excess of per monsoon showers. With more than a 100 varities of rice being grown there, excess rain is no good news for the farmers.
