Ducommun Acquiring LaBarge For $340 Million
Ducommun Inc (NYSE:DCO) announced Monday it is acquiring LaBarge Inc (AMEX:LB) for $19.25 per share in cash. That represents a 10% premium over the company’s closing price Friday of $17.43 per share.The transaction has a total value of about $340 million, included debt assumed and net of cash acquired. The deal is expected to close in June of 2011.LaBarge will be combined with Ducommun's Technologies subsidiary, once the deal is finalized, which will be renamed Ducommun LaBarge Technologies and will be led by the current COO of LaBarge.Anthony J.
