Carnival Cruises is expanding their reach... the famous cruise line is adding the historic port of Baltimore, Maryland as a departure point for their cruises. Starting in May of 2009, the Carnival Pride ship will offer year round seven day Eastern Caribbean, Port Canaveral, and Bahamas cruises that will start their journeys in Charm City’s port. The Pride will also depart the port of Baltimore for six day Bahamas trips and eight day journeys through the very exotic Eastern Caribbean region during the summer months. So plan ahead to give youself time to see nearby Washington, DC and experience some of Baltimore's world famous Crab Cakes before you embark on the vacation of a lifetime on your exotic cruise. For travelers don't want head to Florida before they leave on their tropical cruise, the new Baltimore departure port will help people save a bit of money... which they can spend on the bars and casino onbard the ship.
