They’re probably not gonna like this, but we gotta tell you, Metro Station’s got some… ermmm… let’s call it “royal” blood. Shredder in chief Trace Cyrus is achy breaky Billy Ray Cyrus’s son making the Hannah Montana his little sister. Cyrus’s bandmate Michael Musso is older brother to Mitchel who plays Hannah Montana love interest, Oliver Oken. So it could be argued that Metro Station, like the great Britney and Justin before them, are a beautiful musical marriage officiated by the Disney Channel. But will this rollicking electro-pop pairing survive the trials of fame? With raging fans and a little help from bros in Motion City Soundtrack, it’s looking like smooth sailing.
