BNY’s Malvey Says Greek Vote `Great Relief'
Jack Malvey, chief global markets strategist at Bank of New York Mellon Corp., talks about the Greek debt crisis and its implications for global financial markets. U.S. stocks rose, giving the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index its biggest four-day gain since September, and the Dollar Index posted its fourth straight loss after the Greek parliament supported a European bailout and a measure of U.S. business activity improved. Malvey also discusses the possible departure of U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner from his post and Federal Reserve monetary policy. He speaks from New York with Susan Li on Bloomberg Television’s "First Up."
