Youth initiative to revive Mumbai’s lakes
Mumbai may be the quintessential concrete jungle, a bustling metro with a growing population but it also used to be a city filled with lakes and greenery. But now an intrepid group of young environmentalists is all set to unearth Mumbai’s vanishing oases. An ambitious project took a year's groundwork and has finally got the go-ahead from the government authorities.
