Workers protest against closure of plant
The economic crisis is hitting France hard, with 2.38 million of unemployed in February, and more and more jobs under threat. US firm 3M’s boss might have been released after being kept by workers for more than 24 hours, but tensions are still running high in many companies. Taking to the streets, once again. After more than a million workers demonstrated across the country last week, this time it's employees of tyre factory Continental who are out, voicing their outrage at the closure of their plant.
