www.pstechnik.de Calling themselves The New Merry Pranksters, three passionate, adventurous directors of photography set out last July on the trip of a lifetime to capture the beauty of the Serengeti Plains and other natural wonders of Tanzania. The New Merry Pranksters include award-winning DoP Robert Primes, ASC; DoP Dan Kneece, president of the Society of Operating Cameramen; and DP Yousef Linjawi who is completing his MFA degree in cinematography at Chapman University. At this occasion the expert cinematographers evaluated the very best cameras in the world in extreme conditions, among them the WEISSCAM HS-2 from P+S TECHNIK: “We also wanted to shoot animal action in ultra slow motion and for us, the WEISSCAM HS-2 was the obvious choice because of it’s proven reliability, high quality images and because it outputs HD/SDI directly from it's 36GB ring buffer without any wait time for rendering,” said the New Merry Pranksters on their blog.
