SONOR (Fall 2002)
SONOR, UCSD’s resident faculty new music ensemble, performs the USA premiere of Slow Dance by guest composer Toshio Hosokawa.  The program also includes a piece by Ishmael Wadada Leo Smith, with contrabass virtuoso Bertram Turetzky performing solo accompanied by a small orchestra, and a premiere of a piece by graduate student composer Chris Mercer.
