Featuring stomp-clap beats, mesmerizing layers of guitar rhythm and deep sandpaper vocals, The Static Jacks cast off the computer-based trends of modern music makers to reveal raw, honest lyrics and a youthful energy.  The self-released Laces EP, due out digitally September 15 and physically October 6, features five brand new tracks that resonate influences ranging from 1980s punk to current indie pop music. This young band all but one are 19 - has taken the better half of this year to explore their sound, bringing Andrew Maury (RAC/Live Sound Engineer for Ra Ra Riot) into the studio for his producing debut. The result is an album that fully represents the bands vibrant live sound. The Static Jacks will hold an official release show on October 7 at the Studio at Webster Hall in NYC.
