電車公司：加價後每年可增2500萬元收入
電車有限公司董事總經理夏睿德表示，電車公司客量多年來一直下跌，有需要增加收入改善服務質素。他預料增加車費後，公司每年可增加2000至2500萬元收入。 夏睿德又說，加價經過18個月考慮，而過去一年已經研究過其他開源方法，但認為加費是唯一辦法。他表示，不會只著眼於加價後造成的短期影響，認為加費能讓公司增撥資源改善服務，從而增加客量，有利長遠發展。電車公司員工會維持每年加薪2%。
