長者步入退休後生活空閒，如何善用退休生活是老友記的必修課題！除了享福外，有否想過追回年輕時所錯過的美麗光景？近年專業攝影的門檻不斷下降，攝影不再是年青人的玩意，各位老友記有否計劃執起相機與發燒友結伴遊山玩水？ 大腸癌為本港癌症第二號殺手，老年人絕對不容忽視，遺傳更是引發大腸癌的其中一個重要因素。專家指出50 -70歲之老友記定期作大腸鏡檢查，可有效減少患腸癌之機會。據外科醫生關添樂解釋，進行大腸鏡檢查前，需配合特定的飲食餐單，以令大腸之雜質減少，使檢查結果更準確。一般長者對大腸鏡檢查的恐懼，源於要飲用大量清潔劑(瀉水)，並討厭檢查鏡進入大腸時的不安感覺。其實現時清潔劑的配方已有所改良，醫生更會為病人作深度麻醉，整個檢查過程也只需十五至三十分鐘，試問檢查又何懼之有？
