Perfect Dark Zero is a first-person shooter video game developed by Rare and published by Microsoft Game Studios. The game had a difficult development cycle, during which a substantial part of it was initially designed for the Nintendo GameCube. Due to Microsoft’s acquisition of Rare in 2002, the game was eventually released as a launch title in North America, Europe, Australia and Japan exclusively for the Xbox 360 in late 2005.
