Big Fish Games, Envivio, MyHeritage, and BitGravity are among companies announcing funding Here's a roundup of some companies in the mobile, video, digital media, social network, and advertising sectors that raised money this past week. Casual game distributor Big Fish Games raised $83.3 million from Balderton Capital, General Catalyst Partners, and Salmon River Capital, which received common stock for their investment, according to a release. The 310-employee company runs an online portal for games and interactive entertainment and works with more than 500 game developers. Envivio took a $25 million financing from Harbourvest, Atlantic Bridge, and Samsung Ventures, according to a release. The San Francisco-based company provides IP video convergence encoding solutions from mobile to HD.MyHeritage Ltd., a family-oriented social network, raised a $15 million investment from Index Ventures and Accel Partners. ...
