Cluster Bomb Victim
ec.europa.eu Hassan Abadi is a victim of the Israeli-Lebanon conflict of summer 2006. He stepped on a cluster bomb and lost his leg. With the help of the NGO Premiere Urgence - funded by the European Commission’s Humanitarian Aid Office ECHO - Hassan Abadi has begun to rebuild his life. He now has a job working in a graveyard in Yeita in South Lebanon along with 13 other people who lost their jobs as a result of the conflict. In this video, Hassan Abadi explains how his life was before and after stepping on a cluster bomb.
