Das VLT – das Very Large Telescope ist das größte Himmelsauge der Welt. Es steht auf dem Cerro Paranal in Chile, wo die Luft extrem trocken ist. Dort ist es in die Tiefen des Universums gerichtet. Herumfliegender Staub aber nimmt dem Himmelsauge im Laufe der Zeit die Sicht. So wird es geputzt. Quelle:
