World Music: Rocky Dawuni, "African Reggae Fever"
(Ghana) It’s been written that Rocky Dawuni "walks the talk." The Ghanaian reggae artist actively uses his music and popularity to tackle serious social issues such as infectious diseases, the need for clean water, and poverty across the rural communities of his homeland. "African Reggae Fever" is Dawuni's call to the entire African continent, as well as the Diaspora to unite in a wave of positive values, to embrace construction, not destruction.
