島津発祥まつりinみやこのじょう！
島津発祥の地をアピールする島津発祥まつり（同実行委主催）は、１１月２日から３０日まで都城市を中心に開く。幕末の戊辰（ぼしん）戦争に出陣した私領一番隊を再現するパレード「維新の風」をはじめ、音楽祭やトークショーなど多彩なイベントを繰り広げる。
