Unfortunately, unlike sunflower stars, leather stars don’t move incredibly quickly...so this video is a bit short on motion. I'm always impressed by their brilliant color and the interlacing of a sort of slate or sea-foam blue with the brilliant cadmium orange. I've been told these creatures smell of garlic, but I've never taken a good whiff. They do have the feeling of leather that's been left a long while in the surf.
