Electric cars have a reputation for being slow, and this image has delayed the expansion of this important technology. The Racing Green Endurance project aspires to change this perception by transforming a gas-powered race car into an electric supercar. The car is powered by the latest in lithium iron phosphate battery technology, and this is linked with a sophisticated battery management system which monitors the rechargeable batteries.
