Namaste Yoga 89 Yoga Stories Gomukasana
This week’s episode of Namaste Yoga reflects on Vishnu's eighth incarnation as Krishna and his life as a young cow-herder. In those days Krishna was known as Govinda or Gopala. This class will release your ankles, hips, shoulders and chests to prepare you for cow's face pose. Cows are known for their gentle and peaceful nature and we will try to embody these qualities as we move into gomukasana. Krishna's days as Govinda or Gopala are symbolic of protecting the divine feminine represented by the cows.
