Strikes at Dundee University over job cuts
Hundreds of lecturers and support staff at Dundee University are on strike today in protest at plans to cut nearly 200 jobs. The move is part of efforts to save £8 million. Bosses say they’re very disappointed about the walkout but union leaders say something has to be done about the funding of higher education.
