Modi’s minister to appear in CBI court on Friday
Amit Shah, Gujarat’s Minister of State for Home, has confirmed that he will obey a CBI summons and appear for questioning on Friday in connection with what's known as the Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter case. Shah, who is a close aide of Chief Minister Narendra Modi, was first ordered on Thursday morning to show up for questioning by 1 pm. When there was no sign of him, the CBI issued a second summons with a deadline of 1 pm on Friday.
