東日本大震災の被災3県で延期されていた地上デジタル放送完全移行、2012年3月31日に
東日本大震災を受け、岩手・宮城・福島の3県で延期が決まっていた地上デジタル放送への完全移行について、総務省は2012年3月31日とする方針を明らかにした。総務省は、震災で被災した岩手・宮城・福島の3県について、地デジへの完全移行を最長1年間延期するとしていた。今回の方針について、総務省では、震災で損壊した共同受信設備の復旧などに予算措置を講じることや、地元の自治体などと移行時期について協議を続けたことにより、年度内の移行に一定のめどがついたためとしている。
